@EddyHil The twin brushless motor system is better as the motors are brushless. More efficient than the stock carbon brushed motors. These motors don’t really heat up and last virtually forever;. No more heat sinks or thermo fuses to worry about. Check out the video at the website under twin brushless motor kit.

How much better is the brushless system, I just ordered the red/white heli, Love the lights going to the site now to pick up a set.

Inside the heli, on the control box, there is a little screw driver dial. It may be covered with a sticker.

It’s interesting, but I can’t dumb down the digital camera. Maybe if I wait until it’s a little darker and take the video.

keith18ad July 29, 2010 at 7:35 pm

lol if you video it a bit down i must say it looks like a real heli lol

krissboy12 July 29, 2010 at 7:55 pm

7RTFHELI July 29, 2010 at 8:36 pm

You can use the crashed heli battery on the new one.

krissboy12 July 29, 2010 at 8:46 pm

TO 7RTFHELI!!! Hi i have two big Lamas. theone of them have i crashed. can i use the battery from the crashed one into the new one???

7RTFHELI July 29, 2010 at 8:59 pm

Yeah, I had an older 1.3MP legacy digital MP3 player that was light enough to fit underneath the belly of the beast. Nice and inexpensive way to take aerial videos. This heli is great. Walkera is coming online with their 400 series co-axial to compete against the E-SKY BIG Lama.

jgoudeau207 July 29, 2010 at 9:00 pm

good job on the lights, I have my one extra flasher from the coax daulphin tail rotor that I parted out after palm tree crash in the strong winds. Great heli.tape your cell phone on the bottom of big lama and push record on the cell and get a good 3min video..

robin2thek July 29, 2010 at 9:53 pm

Verry nice! how do you power it?
